Job Fair - City of New Orleans

On May 17th at the Dryades YMCA (2222 Dryades Street, New Orleans, LA 70113), we are holding our 2nd (and MUCH larger) job fair in Central City. There will be a diverse group of employers from many different economic sectors. We will have a job preparedness day the week before, on Saturday, May 10th from 9-12. Topics will be: attire, resume writing, interview skills, and education/GED information.

ON MAY 14 AND 15 AT 4 PM WE WILL MEET AT THE 6TH DISTRICT POLICE STATION TO THEN GO OUT (WALK) INTO THE CENTRAL CITY, IRISH CHANNEL AND LOWER GARDEN DISTRICT COMMUNITIES TO PASS OUT FLYERS AND PERSONALLY INVITE PEOPLE TO THE JOB FAIR. IF YOU CAN HELP US ON EITHER OR BOTH OF THOSE DAYS, PLEASE CONTACT BARBARA LACEN-KELLER (EMAIL SHead@cityofno.com) 658-1020.**
